This is a purple iridescent fairy glyph I found on the shore of an ancient pond. An old, long extinct, race of fairies often used this symbol to adorn their homes and places of gathering. It symbolized peace and prosperity, and was used to instill an aura of calmness and harmony. Also worn as protective amulets, this symbol is said to ward off evil energies or spirits with a mirroring ability. Like a "return to sender" spell.

This symbol was also often hung above their baby cocoons to help protect their young from the "evil eye" or negative, jealous energies.

These fairies used to train fresh water slugs to create these forms, also called "Slug Pearls". They used them as a kind of written symbolic language, mostly used for decorating surfaces or jewelry. It takes the fresh water slug several months to create these intricate pearl glyphs, so they were highly protected and passed down through generations like heirlooms.
